When you enter the map you are taking Need Chest, Offering Bravery quest automatically.
Just Follow the quest line .
You need to defeat all 5 Fire Brutes
In order to be able to defeat the Fire Brute you must defeat all the Fire Sprites in that area.
The map is divided into 5 areas. Each area has a Fire Brute. Defeat all the Fire Sprites in that area so you would be able to defeat the Fire Brute. You don't deal damage to a Fire Brute unless you killed all the Sprites in the Brute's area.
Each Fire Brute is dropping 
Cursed Candies.
The amount of Cursed Candies is as following (drops in normal difficulty, higher difficulties have higher drops):
3, 5, 9, 13, 20
