Essences (aka ammo) are consumable items, which increase your damage output. They are used up when attacking at varying quantities per cast depending on the skill used and stack up to 50000x per inventory slot.

- In Events such as Bloody Harvest, Terrifying Shadows and Ghost Festival essences that destroy darkness must be used to defeat the main boss.
- Essences (or Scrolls) that are spruced up with silver must be used to defeat all monsters during the Full Moon Event in Varholm (Night).
- Shining Silver Essences that are concentrated silver themselves must be used to defeat all monsters in Bloodmoon over Varholm during the Full Moon Event
